Why not have Twitter followers as fans??

Edit Subject

Why doesn't Reverbnation sync with your Twitter account? I would love it if Reverbnation would count my Twitter following as fans (the same way it does with Facebook and Myspace)

  too true myspace is dead, what's going on over there? its like a bunch of retards just took over there and decided to employ and a web designer from 1998 who works very slowly and changes his designs every 2 weeks? it's just bizarre considering its potential and former reputation?

  Just a thought, If your twitter "friends" don't listen to your music, they are not your "fans". I have thousands of friends on twitter, and Maybe a whole 25% have actually heard my music. Thus I consider them twitter friends. When they come to Reverb and play a tune or two And hit the fan button, then they are Fans.

Well....For some strange reason unknown to me, my fan count on myspace is taking a major nose dive. And to think...I thought that my music was pretty awesome! Maybe not?? I can't WAIT until you get the twitter thing goin.

I just successfully synced twitter to ReverbN- My twitter followers showed up immediately in the control sync page.
When I refresh, it still shows 0 twitter followers.

I think that they should literally make this like facebook, a social network in itself, not only for musicians but for everyone so fans and musicians can interact and have fun. Also be able to make costumizable fully into it like HTML and other ways full immage and full sreation of layouts, More people would join i believe. Add a chat bar for the fans :)
