Sorry you are having trouble streaming your songs!
If you are having some issues with your ReverbNation Music Player make sure that your web browser and Adobe Flash player are up to date. If everything is completely up to date and you still seem to be having some issues playing songs on ReverbNation try clearing your cache and cookies.

I can not seem to get anything to play on reverb nation, Everything worked fine until the last week, or so. I have checked to make sure adobe flash is up to date, and nothing has been changed on my pc settings. Can anyone offer some other advice that may help?

As a new member who likes the RN concept, but who can't listen..It makes no sense! Why are you asking us to do all this extra works ie changing IEs..upgrades..blah.blah..WHY are WE having to deal with this!?? This should be a major issue for you..certainly is for your members..the efforts are MUTE! Certainly no reason to be part of your 'premium' services..I'm sorely disappointed! none of my muzik plays now...its been fine for months with no problem and now i have fans emailing me asking why they can't hear my muzik...this is a major problem and it seems as if RN isn't doing anything to fix this problem....this is horrible business and needs to be resolved asap becuz there are many other outlets just as succesfull as RN...patients is wearing very thin....please help fast

I can't listen to other artists off and on for the last week, what is going on? I cant even play my own songs half the time. Yes I have newest flash and updated computer and other sites never fail to play. Also why is there a cover of YYZ by Rush playing automatically by means of your widget? XD-
yeah... tunewidget (POWERED BY RN!!!) blasts tunes when this thread loads!!!
Yet the widget/player on my profile/control room won't let me audit or play mine or other artist's music!!!!
This has been happening ever since I upgraded to Lion (OSX 10.7) and the newest flashes and browsers... No cookies, no b.s., just one little glitch with the reverbnation player! -

I was going to listen to a friends music. the player loads and starts to buffer but goes to %0 then just sits there and nothing plays. NONE of the songs PLAY. I HAVE the latest updates too.

1Having the same playback problems. Trouble started when RN upgraded the interface a few months back. Does reverting back to the old RN interface solve the problem for anyone?-
That is the only thing i can do to get it to play i was maybe thinking they are still in beta mode but yes that works it just pisses me off i like the new reverb i just wish they were a little more concerned with fixing these errors an it seems they have hade more than eneough time thanks though for ur comment it helped

2my songs wont play i even reloaded them backup and still wont, but it play other artist songs so its not the browser its something with the site obviously.
so i see this is an unresolved issue with reverbnation,. theyre gonna lose alot artist this way, and im one of them, im just about out the door.

i have been on reverb nation for two years now, this is the first time i had any problems, why do people tend to fix things when they arent even broken. i will leave reverb nation if this problem isnt fixed. i was more than happy with the old layout. when they gave me the option to use the old layout instead of the new my player worked fine. at least give us back the option or forever lose an artist.

1Here's something weird, like everyone here I was having the same problem with IE. The latest Chrome WILL play my songs, but IE wouldn't...
UNLESS I right-clicked a song and opened it in another window. Try it.-
you are a fucking genius took it sec an thats only cuz im a lilslow an had to re read what you wrote lol but ya that works thanks 4real now to figure out how to upload anfor those having problems there i can help burn all ur music on a cd using the normal bitrate reverb requires then add it to ur library an begin to upload thats what i had to do an it works just a pain agian thanks though really was getting sick of that problem

This site SUCKS. I went from going up in the charts to dropping like a stone. I was #4 and now #9 ... the ANDROIDS, I PHONES are not working ... so people are fed up of REVERBNATION TOO. This is not good to try to dig money from us artist when we are giving you creeps here EXPOSURE AND YOU BASTARDS GENERATE MONEY FROM US! SO AS SOON AS I CAN... I"M GONE FROM HERE!

It is temperamental. Doesn't do it all of the time. I only have the problem on the new design. Click over and the old page works fine. I thought maybe my flash needed updating but the same. I noticed if you reload the page it will work. Anyway, I am certain the bugs will eventually be worked out. Sometimes perfection takes a little time and patience. -

I see I am not alone. New interface will not play any music. This is a music site, right? Great job! Soon to be internet wasteland just like myspace. Change shit enough so it don't work or just keeps getting confusing to keep up with. It was fine the old way. Nobody complained. Soundcloud is the new cool place. No file size limit on uploads. Bye!

I can't get my site to play any music, people that go to my site say the same thing, It will not play my music. Go back to the old site, we didn't have any problems with it, or I'm going to delete my. Sounds like another bad site that the people who put it up does not care about what it is doing as long as their add's get up. Mad, take it back to the old way.

AGREED! the old way was fine! it worked! now there's no sound, and it's not my flash or anything of mine. My sound works fine everywhere but in Reverb... and THEY DO NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS! ~that is the most infuriating! they are so good at doing things en masse, why can't they give us all an answer! Maybe I need to move to soundcloud too, like that other guy said

Dear Reverb Nation:
I have the most up to date of all software as I am a web programmer of many years, so let's get that out of the way right off the bat... here are some issues ReverbNation needs to address or lose potential customers for all time!
1) Better customer service direct phone support for all issues with real people answering them, singers and musicians and artist like to talk to real people!
2) DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT bill for any service without the customer's direct approval, not assumed approval in an email!
3) Get rid of the new crappy music player, it will be your undoing, the old music player that showed up on Facebook where you can scroll down and select and listen to all your songs was the best, not that crappy one song player you are giving everyone now!
4) Make direct contact emails and phone numbers like the 1-888-541-0618 easily seen on your web site, stop hiding these things!

apparently i am not alone with this issue....hard to market your music when no one can hear it...the new site overhaul looks much better...really needed a facelift however, the music not readily playing is a stumbling block...and why isn't reverbnation addressing the issue?
