I’m frustrated

Promote it adds also promoting my personal FB posts?

I've been using a Promote it campaign for two weeks. Week one I was very happy, got plenty of interactions. Week 2 everything slowed way down! Yesterday, my dad saw an ad for me and took a picture...

WHY am I PAYING for you to promote my PERSONAL FB post!?! I didn't sign up for that!

I know it WAS sending people to my FB FAN page at www.facebook.com/EricButtsMusic , but THIS is a post from my PERSONAL page and does nothing for me!

I was NOT paying to promote my personal posts! Overall, I really liked the Promote it campaign, but this makes me wonder how much of my money has been WASTED!

Is this common? I would love to start another campaign, but not if this is going to happen!

Hey Eric,

Thanks for your inquiry! This ad that you have posted is not related to your Promote It campaign and you are not paying for this Facebook Ad. From time to time, ReverbNation runs advertising campaigns that sponsor posts that are made from ReverbNation. So, when you shared your song with your friends on Facebook, ReverbNation paid to have that song promoted to your friends with a Facebook Ad. Only your friends would see this Facebook Ad and you would never have to pay for it.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about Promote It, and I’d be happy to pass them along to the Promote It Product Manager.
