HTML 5 Widgets
So... I think that it would be great to have some HTML5 capable widgets. That way when we loyal Reverbnation users place them on our websites, they will display on mobile devices such as iPhone/iPad. I use the widgets on my website already, but would love for it to be mobile friendly

3Between there not being any html5 widgets and how horrible the support is at reverbnation i am already in the middle of making the switch
its retarded that reverbnation doesnt have html5 widgets. EVERYWHERE has html5 widgets now adays.
Soundcloud for my sound players, fanbridge for my newsletter/tour schedule.
But yeah like i said With over 75% of my fans having smart phones only. they could not listen to our music. i was willing to wait the extra 3 years for Reverbnation to get html5 but then they stole money from my bank account, so Good bye Reverbnation. -

3Urgent need there Reverbnation.
There's also the problem of ordinary HTML widgets not working on most Internet Explorer browsers.
As soon as I get a spare hour I'm looking for a reverbnation replacement – I only use it to host my tour schedule and I'm gone if I can't have HTML5.
Sorry but them's the breaks. Soundcloud use HTML5 so why not Reverbnation?

2I totally agree... I've spent the last hour looking on the web for another html music player widget because I'm building a new website, and normally I'd use reverbnation, but I was thinking of going with another service if it meant iphone/ipad compatibility.
couldn't find anything else comparable though! -

2i would like too see this too. as having a flash music player, flash newsletter widget and other reverb widgets on my website makes it so alot of fans that only have mobile smartphones and not computers not able to view the website . and all the flash slows my website way down

2HTML5 is simply amazing. <3 WOULD LOVE TO SEE REVERBNATION USE IT :D, now that youtube is pushing for it aswell.

I am also at the point of just using HTML5 myself on my own website at this point because of the problems with the widgets. I would really love to see something that is more flexible, better looking, and more customizable in terms of widgets, especially the calendar widget. The fonts used are extremely small, and it is not intuitive to have to click to see the details, as well as having the text and the hover being such bad contrast.

I have a feeling the new Facebook music integration system is going to have a massive effect regarding spreading the word about Artists... is Reverbnation a big part of that?

When is a HTML5 or other non-Flash show widget going to be released?
I love ReverbNation, but I'm seriously considering abandoning it because the emdedable show widget won't work with iOS devices. :( -

Another suggestion would be to allow for transparent backgrounds, this would make embedding much more seamless

Careful with the HTML5 widgets. I've documented some of the problems I've been having here:
