Not sure if you have a band page? Here is an easy way to check: View your band's Facebook page while logged out of Facebook. Which of the two buttons below do you see?
If you see the 'Like' button, this means that you have a band page. If you see the 'Add as a Friend' button, this means that you have a personal profile and will need to create a band page in order to add My Band.

3Ok the band page app is in home of facebook . When I click on it it doesn't go to band profile it end up somewhere else. How do I get it to push on the app and it goes to profile?

1I've gone through all the motions that come up and have saved it, but it still doesn't come up as my default page....plus it stll says 'My Band' in the list menu and not 'Band Profile'

I have the same problem! I can't put the band profile as a welcome page for people who are already signed in facebook! Is thsi possible or do I have to have 10.000 followers?? Help me please!

Yes, we've had the same problem. Tried following the directions given to make "band profile" the page that automatically comes up on facebook, but our facebook account (a musician account) doesn't have the same tabs the directions indicate. Would love to know if ANYONE knows how to fix this.

Yeah So I did all the necessary steps. I have a band page, not a personal profile (facebook.com/theresolectrics) and our reverb nation band profile STILL does not show up as a tab.

Yes having the same issue somebody got some splain in to do. No really this is very frustrating I thought it was me but apparently reverbnation needs to update the info on how to do this thanks.

1Hey, just found a response on a different page- It only makes Band Profile the landing tab for first time viewers and those who are not already fans of the music (which is why none of us find it going to the that tab since we are all probably fans of our pages or at least not first time viewers). I don't know how to fix this, I would really like it if everyone was brought directly to Band Profile.

1RN REALLY needs to get their act together on this stuff. It's totally infuriating that they have completely inaccurate tutorials up.
Yes, we get it -- FB drives developers crazy by continually changing features and APIs and making changes that break add-in apps.
But FOR GOSH SAKE -- just take down the erroneous info, you guys!
Geez.-
SO Right! I have followed ALL the steps at least 6 times, and nothing works as RN says it should. i am not an idiot. And I have very savvy Facebook musician friends who say the same; and when I go to THEIR page I see no RN link.

1They don't care nor do they know how to fix it as most bands' pages reside within an individual page... you can't link the app, currently that way. :( Sticking with our FB page and our Web page/blog. I have much more control of the band's page that way.

... I'm quite new here so probably I'm still a bit lost, hehe!
Does anyone of you know how to change your facebook synchronisation with your personal facebook page to your band facebook page? If I wanna connect the ReverbNation app to my just setup band page it simply won't show up when I'm changed to my band name as it only SEEMS to work when I'm showed up as my normal name ... :-s
Does anyone of you know how I can change this? I also tried to find this out via my general settings but I can't find it ... :-s
Probably I first should have made some band page on facebook before I should have synchronised it to ReverbNation ...

Hey RN Community,
So, I got an email from RN and apparently after someone likes your page the Band Profile disappears.
This is a facebook limitation, and I think we can impact a change!
Here's the link to FB's feedback center:

Click on Pages under Facebook for businesses and put something like "Reverb Nation Band Profile" in the header.
"Please make the band profile feature from Reverb Nation appear after someone likes my page."
If enough of us raise the issue, we'll get facebook to address it.

If I'm understanding this topic correctly then I'm having the same problem. My Band App doesn't show up as a default page when people first look at my fanpage, it goes straight to my wall. I've gone through the same process again and again of adding it as a default but still no joy. I've complained to facebook twice but I've still heard nothing back! It's not true that the Band App only shows when someone looks at your fanpage for the first time. I see plenty of fanpages that I 'like' that always have it as a default. And since facebook have bizarrely removed their own music players from everyone's fanpages it's vital that people see our reverbnation music players come up first. I know it's a facebook fail that they've ditched their own players but what's the point of a music fanpage without a player??? -

1Here's something I just stumbled on. While FB and RN get their communications act together, there is an easy way around this.
Go to FB and your artist/musician page and add a link to your RN account. Like this: http://ReverbNation.com/jgriffgriffin That will put a box with one of your photos on it with a player, profile, what have you.
Just point out to your FB visitors they must click the arrow (player) on your pic and what you want it to do works.

This is totally bogus BS! Reverbnation wants you to pay a monthly fee in order to add additional fans to boost your chart position as they are not or will not add our fans from our FB Page and our FB Band Page, citing FB as the culprit; to also include Myspace accounts. You can also pay FB to get more fans once you go over your limit. Seems like a joint venture between FB and RN and we're screwed! RN says they have no control and FB says they have no control. So I ask you, WHO THE HELL HAS CONTROL? Why force everyone into paying (I pay $14.95 a month for Fan Reach to keep the fans I have) and to keep my ratings on the charts as RN doesn't pull in my BAND PAGE. We are now left with pulling in RN fans, which will cost us monthly! I have already created TWO FB Band Pages! and RN doesn't recognize either one. I have over 2,000 on my FB Page alone, which of course RN won't recognize. Why? Because they would prefer we pay them (RN), and the fee continues to goe up when you reach that quota! Its free up till 500 fans, then its $4.95 up to 1,000, I am now paying $14.95 which throws me into 2,000 fans. I would much rather use my fans on FB to include BAND PAGE and FB Page. So, who's gettiing screwed here?

Ok, but while logged into my "solo project" Reverbnation account, it keeps adding my "band" Reverbnation account to my new "solo project" Facebook Page. I have spent hours trying to figure this out. -

Hey guys i didn't read the entire thread but I think I have a new problem with this App.
So I made a band page for our band (http://www.facebook.com/MidnightCompany) and I got the Shows app for it from ReverbNation. Then I noticed they have this thing called Band Profile. It looked pretty cool so I tried to publish it to my band page.
But when I push the "+ Publish Band Profile to this page" button it just keeps saying "Publishing". I've left it alone for about an hour but it still says "Publishing" without doing anything.
I don't know what i'm doing wrong here, PLEASE help me out!-

I keep going in circles too. My band page does not show up on the new timeline. It is buried somewhere and my friends ask me where my music is. I have to click into my account to find my pages, one of which is my band page. If I am the only one who sees it WTF is the point? I am also paying monthly fees to RN. They really need to get their act together if they want to keep my business.

I've had the myband facebook app on my page. It used to have a player embeded but i noticed that now the app onlyshows the "top section". Nothing else. u might want to take a look at my page but I checked some other music pages using the app and they too have no player.

It would seem that this is a major tool when it works with Facebook. Unfortunately, it doesn't work and is prohibiting us from entering contests, loading our audience of Facebook fans and then sync them. Without the ability to sync, the Reverb Nation Profile and page are useless to us, and by the way we pay to be here every month! It would also seem that this is affecting many bands on Reverb Nation. So, What does it take to get it Fixed?

I had my band profile appear on my band's Facebook page until Facebook switched to the timeline format. Now I can't get any Reverbnation apps to appear on my band page. They appear as small icons in the left hand column under apps on my personal home page, but I can't move them anywhere else or make them a default. When I try performing the tasks suggested by Reverbnation for putting the apps on Facebook and making them the default, my Facebook pages and responses don't look anything like what appears in the Reverbnation tutorials. After two days of going around in circles, I looked here and it seems many others are having the same problem. Has Reverbnation given up on Facebook? Is Reverbnation still in business, or is it a zombie website?

I have a real problem with the almighty click here suggestion cause it don't work. It doesn't matter how many times I try to add a fb link it don't work. I wanted to get a few gigs but I can't even get a press kit to work. Its discouraging so f this I will contact the leads personally and tell them my problems with reverbnation. I will get the gigs and maybe I can persuade the giggers of a better way like http://www.indieonthemove.com/.......... can't you f rs make things work its not brain salad surgery..

I got the app installed, shows up great in a browser, but in the facebook app for Android it doesn't show the MyBand tab? Since 90% of people use their phones for internet that doesn't help me much! How do I get the app to show up on phones so people can listen?

But I created the Band page with a facebook login. None of the passwords I have work here. There is no password reset. When I log into reverbnation, the passwords for the mdpmusic do not work. when I go to reset, it resets the password for my fan page. I have no way of recovering the password for my band profile on reverbnation.

Grandma tried to get rid of this Tombcat..he always came back...i'm wondering was this cat attacking me at one, two, 3, 4...or 5 when we came to Chicago! Ms. E, Dir. of IPF, etc. al, CAN-TV PRODUCER...i Also I remember them taking me to John GASTON hospital and the man kept turning the heat up...so hot....LORD JESUS WAS WITH ME THEN!
