RPKs for Opportunities
If an Opportunity offered on RN is "free" to apply to or participate in then why does the RN application process demand that its members have an RPK to get involved with these "free" Opportunities? Isn't the whole idea behind building a web presence at RN so that those interested in our talents can view that page to get and eye and/or earful of what we can do? That seems to make the need for an RPK redundant and just another piece of online nonsense for us to busy ourselves with updating, as if we don't already have enough to do. Why not make the free opportunities truly f-r-e-e to explore and/or take advantage of? When I last applied to one of these "free" Opportunities the last page of the application process demanded that I have a RN RPK and wouldn't ya know it, that "service" was only available for a fee of $5.95 a month or $59.95 a year. Perhaps I could direct your attention to how my dictionary defines that little four letter word, F-R-E-E. Reggie Miles http://www.reverbnation.com/reggiemiles

Thanks for the feedback! A subscription to Reverb Press Kits is required for submitting to Opportunities. We offer a 30-day free trial of RPKs so users can try the service out and see if it is something they would like to stick with.
