Filtered opportunities
The opportunities sent to a band should have a filter for genre at least and maybe a ranking from the band to filter future offers. Most opportunities are either too far away, not in the southeast, or don't cater to metal. Being able to rank my interest in the type of opportunities would be a quick and efficient way to cut down the spam. Right now the opportunity box just seems like random spam that every artist is getting and not a truly helpful notification.

I was reviewing this idea thread and we actually added this feature last week. I apologize.
You can find this in your Control Room > Home > Preferences
Towards the bottom you will find 'Opportunity Settings' -

Zack, that still doesnt let me hide anything that was sent to me before I changed my settings, nor does it let me hide something I'm not interested in even within my genre...can we get a hide/delete button please -

We now have multiple Opportunity filters!
They can be found in your Control Room > Opportunities
under the 'Quick Filters' Drop down menu
Event occurs in next 90 days
COST
Only free opportunities
Opportunities under $5
LOCATION
Only opportunities in my country
Only opportunities within 100 miles of me
Only opportunities within 500 miles of me
Online opportunities
Opportunities for Songwriters
