I wanted some-one to confirm that this incorrect and that you have normal opt-in out like everyone else -
eg: I click opt-out and it does it.

There are certain paid services that we offer. Once you sign up for these, enter your payment information, and agree to our terms and conditions, you begin a 30 day free trial. Per our terms, once the 30 days are up, you will be charged for the next month's service. You can cancel at any time. You can do this be logging into your profile and navigating to Control Room > My Home > Manage Premium Services. I don't have any paid services.
What I do have is one of your users that I no longer want to receive mailings from.

Can you please provide the link that I click to opt-out? I say this because to opt-in I clicked a link and therefore the logic should hold the same.
Also, under the UK Data Protection Act you obviously need to have a named Data Handler - for just this reason. Therefore can you please provide this.

You cannot block individual artists from sending you messages. However if you go to Control Room > My Home > Preferences, you can block all internal messages.

For such as good system I cannot believe your privacy implementation is this bad?
Question 1. So, to opt-out of One Member's mailings - I have to opt-out of EVERY communication from ReverbNation (internal messages).
Question 2. Are your paid FanReach members aware of this?
Question 3. What happens if there are problems with my account, surely If I have turned off internal message I would not get notified? -

1. Just internal messages from users.
2. Our users are aware if they are having an issue and contact our support staff.
3. You will only be blocking internal messages from Reverb users. -

There is a lot that would have to occur in order to make users be able to block each other on our site. Rest assured our development team is aware of your concern and if this application gets put into play, you as well as the rest of users will be made of aware.
