App Crashing
I am having reports of users of my bands ReverbNation app crashing, when another song is selected to play or skipped. The last reporting user was using an iPhone 5 with AT&T as his carrier.

Sorry for the trouble here- we're aware of this issue and we have our developers working on a resolution for this. I'm going to share your post with them so they're aware you've been affected. It seems to be specifically the new iPhone models that our app is struggling with. We should know more soon- sorry again.

This problem is still happening. It is not related to the new iphone 5 exclusively, it is related to the new iOS6 operating system. Any update on when this will be fixed? The music player is basically useless and our fans are loosing interest in the app.

I don't have a solid ETA but I know they're working to have everything caught up in the next couple of weeks. Sorry again that I don't have a firm date, there's been a lot of going back and forth with Apple on these affected accounts.

I talked to Sam and apparently the app updates for Ios6 have been completed and they are now starting to push out each accounts app update to itunes but since there are alot of accounts, it's taking some time. Also, once the app update it pushed to iTunes, there is a review period by Apple before the update is posted.

They've started pushing out updates but I believe we're still in the middle of our queue for artists that need to update applied. So sorry for all the delay and inconvenience here!

Will the artists that have reported the problem be queued and resolved first? Will we receive a notification once it has been resolved for each of us?

Yes correct, we've made a lot of noise about all of these apps here in support and we now have new developers working on this now, hoping this whole experience will reach a conclusion for all of you soon.

I can't say definitively because it's a bit different for each account but generally we started seeing iOS issues with the last update.

Hey Brothers Dube- checked up on yours and I'm having it rechecked. I see it was resubmitted- is the same error occurring where it crashes while browsing content?

thanks Mike. The app no longer crashes when the user selects a new song to play (that was the action causing the app to crash). The error is with the song player... instead, now, the user can select another song and the app won't crash, but doesn't play the song. it only plays the introduction song when you first open the app, which after you close to select another song, no longer plays songs.

I apologize I don't have a time frame at the moment but I should soon. I apologize again some of these mobile app issues have just been one thing after another but our developers are aware and working with Apple and Google to get these issues fixed.

We are having a semi-same problem - During the process of which ReverbNation "built" our Android App, you guys chose images of my band with an ex-member in them, pictures that had been deleted off our site for months, nearly 6 months these photos have been deleted, we have current band photos in our gallery... anyway when I went through the steps to set up our app, with the new and current photos and our chosen color scheme, when the app launched, it is still showing the old deleted photos, first of all, how does ReverbNation have access to these pictures in the first place, since they have been deleted sometime ago, and second why doesn't the app just update itself with the changes we made during the set-up process... bottom line is we have an app out there that is displaying photos of our band with the wrong members, photos that should not have been chosen in the first place cause they have been deleted from the site... I'm rambling cause I am frustrated, I put my first ticket in to support yesterday afternoon and I have not heard anything from anyone at ReverbNation...

Agents- your issue should be fixed now. I let a developer know of the issue yesterday and an update should have been pushed through. Sorry for the trouble.
