Album on Reverb Store stuck on "Processing Files"? It says it should take four hours... I let it go for 24 hours, took it down five hours ago and reuploaded the stuff... still says "processing files"
Any help?

Sorry about that. My manager unpublished and then republished it to see if it'll work now. It currently is processing again. Should I keep you updated or is there a way for you to check if it's working this time?
I apologize for being such a hassle..
Thank you,

Marc,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I looked at the album from our end and it appears that the problem is going to lie with Audiolife, as they are the ones who drive the store. Please contact them at suport@audiolife.com.
thanks!

I've tried uploading music files from the Ten-In-One CD to the "Downloads" section of my store and they process and then disappear. Drag.
-
-
yes, me too. I got a message to contact audiolife. No REAL help.
-
-
actually, this is the lame message I got in response from Audiolife:
"Thank you for contacting Audiolife's Customer Service email staff. We
will look into your inquiry as soon as possible. Our hours of
operation are Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm (PST).
If you have contacted us at another time we will get back to you the
following work day. Otherwise, we look forward to resolving your
issue as soon as possible.
-Audiolife Customer Service"
that was on September 28th, FYI... -

I have been paying every month for my album to be on Itunes, etc. and it is still not there. It has been MONTHS!!! What is the deal people? I'm going to cancel soon!

Still have not received one email response from you fools about ANY issue I'VE EVER sent to you! Absolutely horrible support!!!

I have solved it, but the times I have posted solutions, they have been deleted by the wonderful moderators (censors).
Basically, I got better deals (and discounts for switching) to other people offering similar services. I use RN for digital distribution, but even some local business have extremely competitive prices comparatively and through our recent meetings it seems that we shall in the future use services with actual customer support and feedback for digital distribution also.
Mostly this has been a hassle. The only shows I've ever gotten were through my booking agency, business cards, and talking to people I know and venues. I tried gig finder but received no responses through that, and most of the "venues" I found on it did not even host shows at all.
Reverbnation is an extremely good promotional tool for artists just starting up, but once you get a real fanbase I believe that things need to get more personal. You can't rely on an internet business forever when there's no one with which you can actually talk. One day it'll be possible, but we're still in the conversion from offline to online phase in the DIY stage, and most sites that seem to offer it all aren't going to be able to deliver all the time. Most musicians I've encountered have always had to take things into their own hands.
Even right now our banners are being redesigned... we couldn't stand the Reverbnation promotional banners anymore. We needed our own personal touch. And never underestimate the power of business cards. -

My files have been processing for 24 hours and counting, had a Reverbnation employee tell me he contacted Audiolife, no response from them yet.

The answer to this issue is to upload each track one at a time. Do not use their feature of uploading multiple tracks at a time.
When I uploaded each track one at a time the album finished processing within a few hours. When I used the multi-upload feature, the album never finishes processing. -

Well I am not assuming anything here, but this is what happened to me two times in a row (and yes I AM a dummy), but some people might make the same mistake as I did.
I uploaded 10 songs and walked away. I came back about half hour later and noticed it got stuck near the end of the first upload. I did it again, same effect. I checked a bit better and then saw I had to fill in the title of the songs in those bars. After that it all went very smooth and it was done in 20 minutes (about 350 Mb).
Maybe it is an idea to make it more clear (written in a "fanatic" color or something)in that bar. Maybe I am the only dummy here, but if more people may experience this, I think this would be the way to prevent it... -

I am done too, not for this problem, but just because audiolife keeps deleting my questions without answering them and I can not work with a crappy bunch of people like that. I am satisfied with reverbnation, but it is a pity they pick such a lousy partner to work with. From now on I will not consider audiolife and with that reverbstore to be my primary target anymore. I am going to bring my bussiness somewhere else...

The album I uploaded yesterday is still showing "processing files" http://www.reverbnation.com/jenniferm... album is "You Should Be With Me". I had no issues uploading the audio files or artwork, editing the titles etc.

-
Just as an update. I checked all my files and they are the correct format, I unpublished everything and recreated the album, uploaded all the files again.
It is still stuck in processing now after 12 hours. -

I had ALL the same problems mentioned above (problems uploading my album, couldn't proof the CD artwork, etc.) I ordered a copy of the CD to proof it, they billed me and I paid, however the product never showed up. The status has been 'delivered' since day 1.
I just contacted Peter Blei at Alliance Entertainment, AudioLife's parent company (Peter.Blei@aent.com) and inquired if this general problem is being addressed.
I ended up using Discmakers for my CD production, but would like to use AudioLife's distribution model for fulfillment of orders.
I'll post again if I get any results.
