Hi, is it possible to ad TANGO to the genres list? There are many tango musicians like me, and we have to put things like "classic, latin, jazz" or wathever else, that really does not apply to our music. I made this suggestion to myspace (other people surely as well!) a couple of years ago and they add it. Now it is much better!

Sorry you are having trouble. We do allow you to list yourself as 3 genres, and only the first genre has to be one of our official ones. As soon as we have enough bands listing themselves as something in the other 2 spaces, we make it an official genre. Unfortunately at this time we do not have enough Tango listings to merit this at this time. I would encourage you to list yourselves as those things in the extra spaces and hopefully in time we will have enough bands to make that official.

2Thank you for your answer. I put already Tango as my second genre, but the charts and statistics are about the first genre. I guess I have to wait a little more for more tango musicians to join ReverbNation. Thanks again!

What about Pop Punk? There are quite a few bands with this as either their second or third genre. In general, there should be a wider range of genres regardless of how many bands have it as their second or their pick, most people can list off more genres off the top of their head than are available on Reverbnation.

2you are right, but TANGO has been declared Intangible Cultural World Heritage by the UNESCO,something that has not happend to Pop PUNK or the list of genres you can list off off the top of your head

You see.. we all already have Tango as a 2nd genre (when it is our FIRST), but the charts and stats are counted on the first, which can be "world", "other", "latin", whatever... That affects the possibility of having a tango community here on ReverbNation. There are tango musicians all around the world and ReverbNation is one of the coolest pages for musicians, so... I don't see what's the problem! -

Yes, please add tango as the first genre. We don't play a mix of latin music, our group plays exclusively Argentine Tangos
